The paintings and original prints of Emily Grenville-Grey
currently trying to find joy in painting again, with ‘Space to Play’
Emily Grenville-Grey (b. 1991) is a painter and printmaker based in South East London.
Emily began painting during the 2020 lockdown and studied at The Art Academy one day a week from 2021–2023, before completing a three-month intensive term at The Royal Drawing School in 2024. She continues to take short courses to refine her skills across painting and printmaking.
Best known for her ‘Sweet Nothings’ print series of reflective phrases typed onto sweet bags and expanded into risograph, screenprint and cyanotypes, she co-founded Something Good Workshops in Deptford in 2025 where she teaches printmaking, knitting and still life painting workshops.
Her work has been exhibited at Bankside Gallery as part of the RE’s International Original Print Exhibition, as well as at Bainbridge Print Open and ING Discerning Eye.
