In Awe, Respectfully

A distancing that results from a lack of perceptual clarity.

When you can see beauty and the manifestation of all things in everyone but yourself, there’s a few choices to be made. I always opted to keep respectful distances. To make sure I don’t dull anyones shine, or waste any one’s precious time. The world on a pedestal, above.

At some point, through practice, I have lost the ability to hear good words, to understand friendly gesture, to interpret good will. I can not trust. I struggle to understand.

Change is hard.

So I remain:

- in awe, respectfully

- eternally enamoured

- universally intimidated

Self-learned social ineptitudes.

Uncomfortable.

The misalignment of self-perception, a lack of self worth resulting in a gap of life experience?

An inability to feel, or to feel realistically through a lack of perceptual clarity - a diminishing precision in self-awareness.
